8/7/2019 (Permalink)
When your contents make contact with water, the best way to save valuable items is to take prompt action using extreme caution to prevent further damage. Items such as electronics, documents, or photographs require special drying techniques to minimize additional damage that might occur. SERVPRO of Henry and Randolph Counties offer special services to help save your belongings after water damage.
Electronic cleanup- Do not attempt to turn on or operate any electrical devices that might have come in contact or been damaged by water. We will coordinate restoration of your electronics, including: TV sets, DVD players, computers, and more. Electronics are cleaned and inspected by a qualified electronic technician before returned to ensure it is safe to use.
Document/photograph drying- Although some documents might not be restored to pre-water damage condition, SERVPRO of Henry and Randolph Counties can save a great deal and help minimize additional damage. Depending on the type of document and level of water damage, there are a few restoration options: air drying, dehumidification, freezer drying, vacuum freezer drying, and vacuum thermal drying.
If water strikes and impacts your valuables, take action immediately. Give SERVPRO of Henry and Randolph Counties a call at (765) 575-8654 and we’ll make it “Like it never even happened.”
