SERVPRO to the Rescue

Local community buildings rarely experience daily use. When the building is closed, many times heating and air conditioning are shut off to decrease utility bills. However, when the weather is hot and humid, the lack of airflow in the building can lead to the development of microbial growth. This was exactly the case for the community building in Sulphur Springs, Indiana.
When the Sulphur Springs Community Building was set to be used, the condition was found to be unusable. The tables and other touch surfaces had begun developing microbial growth due to the lack of airflow in the building- caused by the air being shut off. While turning off the air had saved money in energy costs, these warm, moist conditions led to mold and bacteria growth.
SERVPRO of Henry and Randolph Counties cleaned the building with their proven mold-fighting techniques and made it “Like it never even happened.” The SERVPRO team stays up to date on best practices when cleaning up a mess like this, making them the best for the job!
